Featuring imagery from Wheat Fields by the 17th-century Dutch painter Jacob van Ruisdael, these earrings capture the quiet majesty of the sky — a meeting of light and shadow, cloud and horizon. The muted palette and softly textured surface evoke a moment of calm and contemplation, as if a fragment of the painted world has been preserved in miniature.
Each piece is handcrafted with care in my Brooklyn studio. The imagery is sealed beneath layers of resin and finished on sterling silver — creating a subtle gleam that recalls the silvery light of a Northern sky.
Lightweight, painterly, and timeless.

Care
Care
Cherish your Folkloric Jewelry with a touch of tender care to maintain its magic and charm. Our pieces are handcrafted using decoupage techniques and sealed to protect the artistry, though they should not be worn in water, such as showers or swimming pools, to preserve their beauty. Sterling silver elements may develop a patina over time and can be revived with a simple polish. Our bronze chain necklaces are treated with a non-tarnishing solution, but to avoid possible reactions with sweat, it's best not to wear them during intense activities. Remember, any small imperfections are part of the unique handcrafted nature of each piece.
