Featuring imagery from a pair of turquoise-ground bottle flasks designed by Christopher Dresser for Minton in 1871, these earrings reimagine the elegance of Victorian design in miniature form. The original pieces — rich with wild rose stems and red berry branches — blended British craftsmanship with the decorative language of the East, a hallmark of Dresser’s pioneering aesthetic.
Each earring is handcrafted in my Brooklyn studio, preserving this 19th-century artistry beneath layers of resin and finished with gold fill ear wires. The vivid turquoise ground and delicate florals evoke the opulence of the original ceramics while remaining light and wearable — small, cherished talismans of beauty and history intertwined.
Lightweight, intricate, and one-of-a-kind.

Care
Care
Cherish your Folkloric Jewelry with a touch of tender care to maintain its magic and charm. Our pieces are handcrafted using decoupage techniques and sealed to protect the artistry, though they should not be worn in water, such as showers or swimming pools, to preserve their beauty. Sterling silver elements may develop a patina over time and can be revived with a simple polish. Our bronze chain necklaces are treated with a non-tarnishing solution, but to avoid possible reactions with sweat, it's best not to wear them during intense activities. Remember, any small imperfections are part of the unique handcrafted nature of each piece.
