Bring a small glimmer of history to your tree. This handcrafted ornament features imagery from mid-18th-century French faience produced in the workshops of Aix-en-Provence. Painted in grand feu cobalt blue, these pieces often drew directly from Italian engravings — including Antonio Tempesta’s dynamic depiction of Orlando Paladino, the heroic knight from Ariosto’s Orlando Furioso.
The result is a bold, energetic equestrian portrait framed in swirling rocaille flourishes — a hallmark of this celebrated Provençal style.
Preserved in resin and finished with a velvet ribbon, this ornament brings a touch of mythic drama to the holidays.
• Large Cameo shape (40×30mm)
• Velvet hanging ribbon
• Resin-sealed historical imagery
• One-of-a-kind

Care
Care
Cherish your Folkloric Jewelry with a touch of tender care to maintain its magic and charm. Our pieces are handcrafted using decoupage techniques and sealed to protect the artistry, though they should not be worn in water, such as showers or swimming pools, to preserve their beauty. Sterling silver elements may develop a patina over time and can be revived with a simple polish. Our bronze chain necklaces are treated with a non-tarnishing solution, but to avoid possible reactions with sweat, it's best not to wear them during intense activities. Remember, any small imperfections are part of the unique handcrafted nature of each piece.
