Each pair of these earrings undergoes a multistep process to achieve its unique ephemeral look and feel. It starts with sheets of art papers both large and small. These papers come from all over the world; Nepal, Japan, France, Italy, while others are cut from books, or are antique and vintage with more obscure origins. They are then cut, cured under resin, painted and sealed. From there, holes are drilled in to add in additional components of pearls, gemstones, gold beads, and more.
This style features the female figure and abstract imagery from Gustav Klimt's Tree of Life.
Light as a feather, and as unique as a snowflake. Each pair of earrings is made to order, especially for you. We have done our best to show you the variety of imagery you may receive.
Please do not wear your Folkloric Ephemera jewelry in the shower, while swimming, while doing anything particularly sweaty, or to bed so as to preserve their longevity and aesthetic.
