This one-of-a-kind Stitched Ephemera Bloom Necklace features a luminous angel drawn from Bonaventura Berlinghieri’s St. Francis and the Scenes of His Life (c. 1235). This masterpiece of Italian Gothic art, created for the Church of San Francesco in Pescia, is renowned for its detailed depictions of St. Francis's life and the celestial figures that surround him, symbolizing divine guidance and spiritual devotion.
The angel is surrounded by a meticulously hand-stitched bezel of black spinel beads, adding a touch of dramatic elegance to the design. Black spinel, often associated with protection and resilience, complements the serene and timeless imagery, offering both beauty and deeper meaning.

Cherish your Folkloric Jewelry with a touch of tender care to maintain its magic and charm. Our pieces are handcrafted using decoupage techniques and sealed to protect the artistry, though they should not be worn in water, such as showers or swimming pools, to preserve their beauty. Sterling silver elements may develop a patina over time and can be revived with a simple polish. Our bronze chain necklaces are treated with a non-tarnishing solution, but to avoid possible reactions with sweat, it's best not to wear them during intense activities. Remember, any small imperfections are part of the unique handcrafted nature of each piece.
