This one-of-a-kind necklace draws from a remarkable Louis XVI–era guéridon attributed to Adam Weisweiler, c. 1790, featuring Wedgwood porcelain plaques inlaid with the twelve zodiac signs and a central image of Venus and Cupid. The original table, now held in private collections, was made of mahogany and thuya burl with ormolu mounts—an exquisite marriage of French cabinetry and English neoclassicism.
At the heart of this necklace, a reimagined Venus plays gently with Cupid beneath a tree—symbolizing the nurturing force of love, beauty, and cosmic harmony. The tree, often read as a symbol of life and rooted wisdom, frames their eternal bond. Fringed with freshwater pearls and strung on nylon cord, this piece adjusts from 18–20"—a wearable constellation of myth and meaning.
